FREE MY MIND

They teach me what they want me to know,
they inform me guided by certain parameters
I shouldnt know beyond those boundaries
Now free my mind and let me go beyond horizons
Let me understand how the Americans went to the moon
Give me reasons why Obama won a noble peace prize for killing
Let me get to the comprehension
of this thing the call big bang theory
Give me reasons why?
we are not going to discover beyond what Newton did
Please explain to me this so-called "black hole" theory
Tell me why Tesla's inventions were never patented

 and some were even hidden
Tell me why thorium isn't being used in nuclear power

when it has less harmful effects than uranium
I just need to know more
Free my mind and let me see beyond this cloud of deception

Bring Back Our Girls

My once bright future
In me they saw a doctor
They envisioned a lawyer
Until a few hours ago
A set of Ruthless babarians
Came and set off the illumination
Oh my once bright future

My once bright future
A glimpse of the life I'm to face now
Is so painful and agonising
A sex slave in a civilised world
A mother out of rape , a mother out of pain
Oh my once bright future

My once bright future
In which my parents had invested handsomely
In which my father never took chances
I just fear he is going to break down
Take me back to mum and Dad
They are in more pain than I am in
Oh my once bright future

My once-bright future
"western education is sinful"
They suggest and imply
What has this to do with my 15 year old sister.
Had if they had a piece of it
Had if they had daughers dear to them
They would have known
Oh my once bright future

Re-illuminate my future
Boko haram bring back my sisters
Bring back my daughter
Bring back my aunt
Bring back our girls

Oh my once bright future

CHARGE ME GUILTY IF YOU DESIRE

Charge me guilty if you desire
But for liars, cheats and murders, my voice will remain restless
Beat, bash and hit me because the law is in your hands l will not retaliate
But I will keep singing along the line by Outspoken and Comrade Fatso
"You can beat my body but my mind will be free"
Charge me guilty if you desire, because you are the law

Rob me of my right to freedom of expression
But shut your mouths and never in your life utter that you stand for democracy
Without fear and favour , I will not hesitate to speak out
I will not fight from your corner to get a day's meal
Many have perished doing so, you have decieved them and later dumped them
Charge me guilty if you desire, because you are the law

I hardly get a decent meal , I strive for hours to put food on my table
Yet you spent double my monthly salary on a single meal
Seeing such disparity in the society do you think I will shut my mouth and let you get away with it
Charge me guilty if you desire, bacause you are above the law

For how long do you think you are going to suck our blood and go away with it
"Nehanda nyakasikana vachagumepiko vachidai?"
For how long do you think these souls of victims of political violence will hold their vegeance
Surely one day these unspoken souls will burst into an uproar
Charge me guilty if you desire, because you are above the law

I said charge me guilty if you desire
But for corrupts, liar, cheats and murders
My voice will remain restless.

The "she" that I wanted

The "SHE" I wanted

Her beauty was so ethereal
A toxin to the nerves
A single glimpse would make you go numb, motionless and crazy
A figure perfectly built and carefully denied of flaws
From the hair to the toes
Everything was complementary
"A paragon of beauty" might rephrase all I'm trying to say
Or maybe its not enough to stress out her beauty

Her personality,morals and character
Was that all parents wish their children had
She was a harbour of ethical morals
She was devoid of any decadences
So ethical
An african breed
The type you would comment
"Anobva ku vanhu"

She was the girl
She was wife material
The "dinner type"
She the type that was worth waiting for
No boy had the traits to complement hers
Neither did I
But I wanted her

Unfortunately "SHE" didnt exist
I dont think even a biased xerox ever existed
And definately "SHE" won't exist

Where are you
