HE WILL, HE IS , HE WAS - BREAK THE CHAIN TODAY

He will, he was, he is –let’s break the chain

His future is easy to prognosticate
The direction of his life if contorted towards doom
The frontispiece of his tomorrow is a silhouette
Literally he has been decapacitated
But with fortitude and formidable endurance 
He strives and works hard 
Hoping and believing things will get better
But his efforts are futile 
All matters exacerbate daily

Problems condense into permanent life situations
Disappointments, sorrow and regret are his daily bread
Just yesterday he found out that his girlfriend was pregnant
With another innocent soul to be exploited
He will know no school, hospital and a decent house 
Up until he too gets another 14 year old pregnant
The farm, construction site, illegal factories
Will be the only places he will ever know
His father suffered the same circumstances too
History has a strange way of repeating itself HUH!!!!
He WILL be a child slave

In torn shorts and a backless t shirt 
The obsequious 16 year old Nhamo
Genuflects for his captious, obese “Boss”
An exploiting, greedy and mean monster
Who briskly prods and harangues him back to work
An ordeal he has suffered for long
A daily chain he has endured for an agonising decade
Hopes for a better life are gradually putrefying
For all he knows is work eat and obey
He is a protégé by inheritance

Every day is a living hell for him 
When his boss’ sons are being driven to school
He walks a distant in a dusty and filthy road to the farm
His workplace, his school – that’s where all his life belongs
I am heartbroken and pain-stricken by the disparity of the scene
Tears flood my eyes on seeing such cruelty
His life is just an imponderable haversack of misery 
His so-called boss construes him as a tractor
He IS a child slave

His father convalesces lying in a reed bed
It all seems to be decrepitude
But he is in his late 30’s
He drinks a traditional bitter and malodorous cathartic
A remedy for the long ignored poisoning from agro chemicals
His back has been weakened by the long working hours
Which he endured since he was 6
The situation is brutally agonising
He suffered the same circumstances too
He WAS a child slave

The chain is going to go on
Genocide has already been committed
Yet I watch and ignore
Because my child is in school
Because my child has a decent living
Who then is going to stand for the oppressed?
Please take the last quatrain into consideration

Free the child slave
Break the long chain today
Say no to child slavery
For they deserve a life too

PERFECTION

        PERFECTION
     
            I would love to describe what I would call perfection
                           But my efforts will be just futile
             Because if you stare in the mirror you will see it
                    Yes i would love to describe perfection
                                 But it would be of no use
                     Because you will only see it as flattery
                              Some will take it as mocking


               I would love to describe what I would call perfection
                       But my vocabulary is too limited to do that
              I would explore the dictionary to find the right words
                 But that will be trying to build an igloo in Kalahari
                                      You want to know why?
                                  The right words don’t exist yet
                   Ok let’s travel back to the Shakespearean times
                             What Shakespeare would call beauty?
                  Would be a drop in an ocean on what i would say
                      In a situation where we invent our own words
                     The word perfection should have never existed
                       Because the dictionary doesn’t fully describe it

      If perfection was a quantity, it would be beyond integral calculus
         If it was a piece of art, it would be better than the sonnet XVII
    If it was a song, the composer of the song would be most creative 1
                 Yes I would love to describe what I call perfection  
It would the combination of nature’s unforeseen compilation of words
I hate that I cannot fully describe the thing i would call perfection
                                    But I love one thing
                        Perfection has just read my poem,
       Yes I would love to tell you what I would call perfection
                               But just stare in the mirror
                          You are a symbol of perfection
                                A true masterpiece of art
                                         Yes I mean you
    Thank God for you, Perfection cannot be written but can seen

Take a step towards global warming

I don`t want my children to see the Earth die,
Without fish swim and without birds fly,
With no air for breathing, no water to drink,
When global conditions will make the land sink.

I don`t want emissions to stay in the air,
To fill our lungs and to spread everywhere,
To cause global warming, submerging the land!
To stop all this mess we should lend our hand!

The nature is dying together with us,
We wouldn`t exist here but for the green grass…
We must prevent nature from saying «farewell»-
In case it is dying, we`re dying as well!

What could human beings` activities mean –
To make our planet one big rubbish bin?!
No matter that you may be only a teen –
It`s never too early or late to be green!

To show our children the beauty of life;
To help polar bears and pandas survive;
To claim to the world that this talk should gain weight
Let`s firstly take part in the global debate!

THE MATHEMATICAL APPROACH


I may not be so good with English but l am a genius in mathematics hence l have to express myself mathematically.everytime √-1 see you, you simultaneously divide my life into 2 unsolved equations that would require the Pascal’s triangle to be solved…..l can give you a hint on that….. substitute the variable (x = u),(y= me )and (+= and) for the equation x+y=1.everyday my feelings for you cross multiply……in an effort to allow for the uncertainty ,l integrated them but the answer seemed to be beyond integral calculus…..l guess it’s part of the Fermat’s unsolved theorem. Your beauty inspires me to be greater than zero. You parabolic smile which l calculated and found that it is a curve of the equation y=x3+3, keeps me in touch with the special angles of my heart. You make me feel relaxed on the x-axis where y = 0. When l come across you, l feel like I’m turning, like the graph of y = sinX without a given range, stretching to infinite. I will be glad if you meet me at one turning point, maybe we would consider the area bound by these to curves can utter three words to you. Words that can describe the midpoint of my heart. Without you my heart is a semi circle because you have stolen the other half.e^x=1+x/1!+x^2/2!+x^3/3!+⋯,-∞<x<∞……that equation is what l am without you.(√-1) ( ∫1∂L ×ove) you.l will appreciate if we could come together and solve for x so that both stop to be vertically opposite if not skew. I want you to be my complementary angle. I know you the only (sin2x + cos2x) intelligent enough to understand that when it comes to the trigonometrical world, we are all positive in the first quadrant.

        Principles of life

Be the best you can be

When you are going through rough patches of life don’t despair. Failure should be seen as an opponent that you have to fight. Use it to inspire you to do best next time. If you want to excel in life you need to persevere and never give up. There will always be storms in life which you need to fight and get against. Do not let them overpower your goals and dreams. You are precious, unique and innocent. Appreciate, love and take good care of yourself. Introduce yourself to God and he will not close the doors for you but he will open more and more doors for you. Be whom you are regardless of what people think about you.”Ngavataure iwe uchifambira mberi.”God wants you to be the best you can be.

Getting your own way

Your life would be much easier if everyone did exactly what you told them to do, but unfortunately that’s not the way life is. What you really need is to let other people what you really want. If you want to take your own way, first make sure you know which way it is and make sure it is not hazardous and you won’t regret it for they say “look before you leap”. Be honest about your abilities, passions and get to offer them whenever their service is needed

Don’t allow your past to define you

Choose to leave negative experiences and failure in the past where they belong and rise right above them. Choose to acknowledge and handle the past negative experiences but consciously focus on the positive. Don’t let people crumble you down by instilling the failures of yesterday, for life still has to go on despite going down in the future. Your past should be outweighed by what you are doing now about your future. So don’t worry about the past for it’s gone.

Get to know yourself better

There is no bigger gift that you can give to yourself than to truly see yourself and learning to get to know yourself better and completely understanding who you are. You need to understand who you really are and also the aspects of motivation that made you what you are at that moment. That way it is easier to define your future, it helps on knowing where you are headed and why you are headed that way and how you are going that way................all the questions are all answered by simply getting to understand and knowing yourself better.

Everything happens for a reason

Everything happens for a reason but sometimes we are not smart enough to get to notice that. God created each and every person for a specific reason and a specific motive; you are not just a mere object for nothing. No matter how tough the circumstances you face may be, you just have to know that everything happens for a specific reason, Joseph was not arrested for no reason God had a reason for it. I learnt that in life when the predicament or the wound is still fresh you have a lot of people sympathising with you , however when everything gets stiffer and more agonising  people start departing 1 by 1 until the real friends and relations stick by you, that’s for reason. Don’t focus on what you have lost rather focus on what you want to acquire.

Only God knows what he has for you


You could be a prince but you wont really know it, a Bill gates of our generation. All lies in the hands of the lord. God knows, if you really pray unto him and work hard in life..... that will be a beginning of a lifetime transformation.

BLACK   INFERIORITY



I cannot be a scientist
I cannot be someone so recognizable in life
I am destined for failure
My life is doomed
I am leading towards nothing

My mind told me all this
BUT WHY?
Because l am black, because I am African
This thought and mentality of self-hatred
This thought of self mocking 
I t seemed to be genetically inherent
Because for generation it has haunted us
It has haunted those of my complexion

Little had l known that this thought
Little had l known that this mentality
 The major reason behind our failure
Had to be abolished, it had to be deleted
We needed optimism and abandon pessimism
In place of inferiority we needed superiority
I could be anyone in life; achieve great things
The power to do this lies in my hands 
The power to change history lays my passion
For decades I had been told what l couldn’t do
For decades l never really knew what l was capable of doing


Fellow brethren, fellow blacks
Let us stand for ourselves, be positive 
And remove this element of self-hatred 
Eradicate inferiority of race or colour
We can be what we want to be in life
It takes focus, dedication and determination
Yes l can be the next richest person on earth
I can go beyond my horizons,
For the sky is the limit

for quiet a while l have lived in supression
and fading hopes of liberation
all this while I have been crying for emanicipation
hoping that some hero will come for my resuscitation
little had I known,that only I and me alone
had to come out and stand for myself

in my words lied the solution
the only key for my liberation
not only did l realise that,but l also discovered something
I was not only supressed,but brainwashed too
fortunately l the solution

I believe in my words is where the truth lies
I believe in my words is where the solution is
yes you can try to use your brutal methods
but the power in my words stays provocative
the power that is in my words is just a time bomb
you can beat my body,but remember l got a mind
the secret chamber in which the plain truth lies
I have a mind that is free and has to be said out

I believe its high say myself out
I believe its high time I expose corrupts
Its high time l get myself off, from yoke of supression
I once saw it but couldnt talk,
its high time l depart from such ways
They used brutality to shut me up
its high time l open my mouth


Its just high time time I impact change
get free free from supression
Its high time I stand for the truth
YES it is now!!

I cannot be a Martin luther king
I cannot have the oratory skills
but l believe in the truth
The  way l may talk can sound absurd
but the truth is the truth
I know the little that say will impact change
I have to say it out
WHY?
Because now is the time
Yes it is now!!!

Nine months in your womb
You never faltered
Abortion could have been a choice
But you never thought of that
You never gave up on me
Up until nine months you carried me
During the sleepless nights
You were always with me
When i was sick or weak
You would not eat nor sleep
All the love, dedication, and care you gave
I just want to thank you mama

You were always my inspiration
When I was about to get out of the road
You gave me direction
You said son you have to have some determination
Because all this you knew and you had the vision
Though words may not be enough to express my gratitude
And my knowledge may be limited to stretch it out
Oh ! your love is beyond my description
Beyond my vocabulary if not inexplicable
I just want to thank you mama

Through the thorns you walked
To make sure that I had the best in life
So hard you worked
To make sure that I had an education
All the love, care and devotion
You deposited unto me
To make sure that I had a future
