my feelings for her were immortal
she turned me down a lot of times
but i kept on hoping that i would get her
so gorgeous and voluptous l must say she was irresistable
everyday i fantasised having her in my arms
but everytime i told her how much i felt for her
she would say 'hey you are not my type!'
but i was deep and affectionate, a good listener
i would treat her like a lady that she was
i thought that was every woman's dream guy
until i got enlightened by friend

he said welcome to the first century brother
where being romantic is taking her to a five star hotel for a meal
where being a gentleman is offering her a ride in your "own" car
where there is nothing as affectionate is taking her shopping
where gucci and versace have become a measure of love
where a samsung galaxy tablet for a birthday present is the least you can do 
where dressing in those skinnies and chinos for a date shows you are a gentleman
'i thought the black suit and a bow tie had it all' i interrupted

he said 'brother where were you when these apes took another step of evolution?'
please run after time brother while you still cant see him
this is the 21st century, where love has become materialistic
where a driving her to her workplace is a 1 way ticket between her legs
but shouldnt be that saved for our honeymoon? I asked
he laughed and said 'brother time really stood still for you i guess'
this is the materialistic world we live in now
go get yellow skinnies a purple shirt blue wollen hat and red shoes to catch up
i imagined 'that should be for a colourful decoration'
this is the materialistic and lost world we live in

f only my thoughts could be visually projected, surely the world would be the most hospitable planet in the galaxy.....you know why? I see a world full of love,peace and joy.A world of total unity for sustainable development, a world where America sent relief aid to Iraq in lieu of deploying army troops, a world where billions are syphoned towards charity in lieu of funding nuclear warfare research, a world where Africa isn't a test ground for scientific research and experiment

, a world where Africans are not treated as lab rats on which how they see GMOz' effect on man, a world where Pakistani and Indians and Chinese dine and be merry, a world where racism and xenophobia, wars and violence, distrust and hostility are just mere words which never came into existence, a world in which Nobel peace prices ain't awarded to the malignant hands of those who kill all over the middle east.... I am just saying if my thoughts could be projected visually, maybe people would have an idea of what democracy really is, they would understand what we mean when we talk of political transparency.. But too bad my thoughts are an imaginary vision of what the world would be if people knew that peace , unity , love are an essence for a better and peaceful world, that peace serves a purpose for democracy.. This is how i imagined the world
